Penum has accumulated a significant amount of expertise in international logistics. Fresh chilled products are often the most difficult to move around the planet and it is important that you consider your provisioning needs when planning itineraries.

Once we have built your order in our warehouse, we are able to transport it to our freight forwarding partner who can store your products in temperature controlled warehousing until the plane is due to depart.

Freight onboard most commercial aircraft is maintained between 7-18 °C, but can fall to zero. All of our packaging is optimised for temperature control over a 24 hour period.

Using your agent

Airport to airport is the most economical and also the best solution for product freshness. We deliver the supplies your nearest international airport and then an agent of your choosing takes responsibility for collecting the goods from the airport and delivering them to the yacht.

We have relationships with partners in most cruising destinations and we can arrange for you goods to be collected by our partner and delivered to the yacht.

Please be aware, while we are building relationships with local partners, we have in the past encountered problems with local agents who are not… aligned with our objectives. After all, if one of our shipments doesn't arrive who are you most likely to use to replace it?

By working with local partners we hope to be able to source product locally, but also have a reliable way of delivering goods that do need to be sourced further afield.

 

Please note: We are an online provisioning company - we specialise in finding you the products that you need. We do not make profits from shipping goods to you. The prices you will pay are for the items that we sell, priced for local free delivery. If you require the goods to be airfreighted to other side of the world, you will receive a bill for documentation, inspection and airfreight. We are unique in this respect and trust that you will compare apples with apples.
